Planning Your Sports Session
Whether you are booking for a full team or for individual athlete portraits, Sara works with you to create an experience that feels organized and stress-free.
There are a few different options when it comes to choosing which style of sports photography fits your athlete or team best.
Team & Individual Sports Portraits
Team portraits are either done at Sara's studio in Montgomery, Tx or at your team indoor sports facility/gym meeting Mondays-Fridays (weekends may be arranged as well if Sara's schedule permits). These are unique portraits using colors, smoke and lights to create a one of a kind sports experience for your athlete and team. If shooting at your facility, a travel/setup fee may apply depending on the facility location and you must have approval for us to use the smoke machines (if choosing this style). There also must be enough space for lighting and backdrop setup.
There is a minimum of 10 athletes required to book this team session for the rates below. The group team pose will be created digitally as a composite (this is a standard pose without the colored smoke) so there is no need for the whole team to be present at the same time. Each athlete will be assigned their own time slot and will be photographed within a 10 min period. Parents will choose their package of choice and payment is due on session day (before being photographed). Clients must sign a contract/model release when they arrive on session day. Tax will be applied to each order.

Team Sports Sessions - Composite Digital Background
The digital composite option is a more traditional sports look and is not using the smoke or colored lights. For a digital composite image, each athlete will be photographed against a black or white background and the rest is done in the editing process. The athlete will be edited out and composited onto a sports digital background fully customized with the team name and colors. A group team pose will also be created digitally so there is no need for the whole team to be present at the same time. There is a minimum of 10 athletes required to book this team session. Each athlete will be assigned a time slot and will be photographed within a 5 min time frame (these are quicker to capture so less time is needed). Payment for the portrait package is due on session day (before being photographed). Clients must sign a contract/model release when they arrive on session day. Tax will be applied to each order.
Composite Digital Background Package - $45
2 poses during the shoot/ 1 individual digital image

Individual Sports Portraits (1 athlete) - $200+tax
These are for one athlete being photographed (not with an actual team). These are unique portraits using colors, smoke and lights to create a one of a kind sports experience for your athlete. A custom digital composite image is also included. Your session will last 30-45min and includes multiple poses and 5 digital images. These sessions are done at Sara's Montgomery studio meeting Mondays-Fridays (morning, afternoon and evening times available).
Outdoor Individual Sports Portraits (1 athlete) - $350+tax
These are for one athlete being photographed (not with an actual team) meeting at your school or team field/gym. These are classic, normal portraits (no smoke or colors) captured in your outdoor sport setting. Parents must get permission for us to use the team facility/field. Outdoor sessions are either done in the early morning or close to sunset to ensure the best lighting. Your session will last approximately one hour and includes multiple poses and 10 digital images. A travel fee may apply depending on the location.
Your Final Gallery
Approximately one week after your session, parents will receive an online proof gallery to view and choose your favorite poses. Each chosen image is then carefully edited to reflect the bright, bold, and luxury-inspired style that defines Sara Hunt Photography.
